A First Post...

So I am bored on a Friday night, with nothing much better to do at this time. Therefore I post here.

The application for the animation program here at BYU is due on 1 Apr 2008, and I am stressing out. I mean, I don't think I'm very good at expressing stress so that people around me understand that I'm stressing. But only time will tell what happens with my application.

In other news, I have recently realized that bearing testimonies sparks faith. I bore my testimony on the fast Sunday before coming home from Christmas, and one of my BYU ward's member's fathers had come up to visit from my Grandparents' island. I sat by him because he was from Hawaii, and we chatted a little before church started. Then I went to bear my testimony about my granduncle from Kauai had just passed away the month before and I expressed thanks for the Plan of Salvation, among other comments. When I sat back down, the father asked me my name and my grandparents' names.

It turns out that the father had been less active for a while, but thought about the things I had said, and decided to go back to church. So, this man started going to church, and then was asked by one of his fellow members, a lady, what had brought him back to church, and he gave her my name and my relationship to my grandparents on their island. This lady knew my grandma, who is also a member (my grandpa is not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), and so news got to my grandma, then to my mom, then to me.

Well, it's really late. I'm going to sleep so I can go to work tomorrow and stay awake.
